The tag archaeological_site=petroglyph specifies an archaeological site as a 
petroglyph.
A petroglyph is an image created by removing part of a rock surface by incising, picking, carving, or abrading, as a form of rock art. Historic/archaeological art created by adding pigments to the rock surface are tagged as archaeological_site=rock_painting. Where there is both carving (and/or engraving) and painting consider using archaeological_site=rock_art.
